ABOUT US
Oi is a family-owned and run brewery from Pune, arguably the birthplace of craft beer in India. As the urban Indian youth's understanding of beer evolves, we want to make sure no one is left behind. That's why we untangle craft beer from its confusing jargon, making it easier, more accessible, and approachable. Boasting the highest production capacity among microbreweries, Oi makes craft beers that appeal to a highly diverse audience. Our beer lineup is a balance between familiar styles done consistently well and unconventional, experimental brews that aid discovery and differentiation in the eyes of the consumer. Our long-term goal is to be India’s first organic brewing brand. For us, “Oi” is not only a welcoming expression that commands attention—it is also synonymous with “Organic Ingredients.”
SUSTAINABILITY
At Oi Brewery, we're on a mission to be fully sustainable, and here's how we're doing it:
Powered by the Sun: We generate 40% of our energy from solar panels and are working towards being 100% solar-reliant.
Water Warriors: We've reused over 4 million litres of water, which is then used to nourish our backyard garden.
Plastic Positive: We are India’s first Plastic Positive craft brewery, meaning we remove more plastic from the environment than we generate.
Carbon Neutral: We're also India’s first Carbon Neutral craft brewery, with all our emissions audited and accounted for.
Local & Organic: We partner with local farmers to grow our organic ingredients, reducing our carbon footprint and supporting our community.
BREWING PROCESS
At Oi Brewing Company, we take pride in our meticulous brewing process. Each batch is crafted with the finest organic ingredients that is locally grown to ensure a unique taste that reflects our passion for beer. We do not compromise in any way with our raw materials, even if it results in a higher production cost of our beers. Our state-of-the-art brewery in Shirwal is designed for producing over 5,00,000 litres of beer. That leaves our our experienced brewing staff, plenty of room for variations and experiments- yet promising a consistency that few breweries can boast of.
